Find a good location. It's o.k. if people walk under the speakers, but don't mount them above where people normally stand or sit:
Here are the speakers and the necessary supplies. I don't recommend speakers that are larger than these (19 in. x 13 in. x 10.5 in.), because no door will open underneath them. The cargo nets are Bell model 33653-8 45 in. x 24 in. The Swivel Hangers are Cobra model 59908 White, and the rope is Nite Ize Innovation 550 Paracord 50 ft. 1/4 inch black:
Cut out the bungie cord that comes with the cargo net and use the black rope instead. Use a generous amount of rope - probably around 20 ft. per speaker, because it helps when putting the speakers up:
Mount four swivel hangers for each speaker into the ceiling studs:
Use a ladder to initially hang the speakers, and then start using the rope to lift the speakers all the way up:
Now the speakers are mounted to the ceiling:
